The Vocational Training Institute of Giddis for Advanced Technology and Entrepreneurship (VTI-GATE) recently held a free training program designed to equip young Cameroonians with essential skills in using Google applications.

The event, titled “VTI-GATE Free Training on Mastering Google Applications,” took place on October 25 at the institute’s Campus B in Chapel Obili in Yaounde.
This dynamic training session attracted a diverse group of youth from various backgrounds, bringing them together for an intensive, hands-on learning experience.
Participants engaged in practical modules that covered a range of important topics. They learned how to create and manage quizzes using Google Forms, which is invaluable for educational and professional settings.
Additionally, they explored how to organize and analyze data effectively with Google Sheets, gaining skills that are crucial for data-driven decision-making.

The training also included instruction on secure file storage and collaboration through Google Drive, as well as tips for enhancing productivity and communication using Gmail.
Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many described the session as “insightful,” “innovative,” and “transformative.” Desmond Mofor noted, “It was truly a rewarding experience that has strengthened my digital skills and confidence.”
